The short answer
Evaluate Durable when you want an AI-assisted website platform with business tools and an SEO/GEO workflow. Consider FoundUp when you need help researching, reviewing and delivering agreed changes over time. The important comparison is the work after the first draft, as well as the speed of creating it.

Durable is more than an initial page generator
Durable presents AI website creation alongside business tools such as CRM, bookings and payments. Its SEO & GEO page describes a dashboard workflow for connecting profiles, reviewing a score and taking action, and says it is part of the subscription. Check current plan and regional availability for the functions your business needs.
It would be misleading to compare Durable as if it had no GEO offering. The useful question is which tasks you can complete in its workflow and which still need your own knowledge, a specialist or another service. Vendor outcome claims are not independent proof that your business will be cited.

Test a change across the website and business profile
Durable’s SEO & GEO page describes connecting and synchronizing Google Business Profile information alongside its dashboard workflow. Use a proposed service-area change to evaluate the process: identify the approved fact, the affected website field, the connected profile field and any review step before publication.
Check what actually synchronizes and what still requires manual work. For a business that visits customers, service coverage and the purpose of a registered address are different facts. A synchronization feature cannot decide whether the business is eligible for a particular listing or whether an address is a customer-facing location.
An acceptable result for this exercise is a traceable approved change and a working customer journey, with unresolved destinations listed. It is not an immediate improvement in a vendor score or a promised AI citation. This is FoundUp’s proposed evaluation exercise; we have not performed a paid-account Durable trial.

Review the first draft as business information
A quick generated draft can be a useful starting point. Before publishing, check every service, location, qualification, price and promise against your own records. Remove any invented customer story, unsupported result or service you do not provide. Confirm that you own or are permitted to use the images and other materials.
For a local service business, test whether a customer outside the service area would understand that limitation. For a specialist service, make eligibility and exclusions easy to find. These checks matter more than whether a generic score rises after adding another paragraph.
Plan what happens after launch
A business website changes when staff, availability, services or commercial terms change. Decide who receives those updates and which systems must be synchronized. A changed phone number on the website may also need updating in profiles or booking tools. An AI-generated page does not establish that all those records match.
FoundUp can discuss a service scope covering website management, GEO audits, content and monitoring. Ask which changes and reporting periods are included. A human-supported service still needs timely information and approval from the business, and it cannot guarantee how independent AI systems use the published material.
Test one complete task, not only setup speed
Use an example from your real workflow, such as changing a service description and its booking conditions. Follow it from the owner's instruction through fact checking, editing, mobile review and publication. Then check the form or booking path and save the final URL. Compare the effort and responsibility in each option.
If AI visibility is part of the decision, ask to inspect the underlying question, response and cited sources. Keep scores separate from observed mentions and website citations. Compare the same question and market over time, while acknowledging that model changes and competing pages also influence the answer.
Choose the arrangement you can maintain
Durable may fit when you want to operate an AI-assisted platform and its supported business tools. A managed engagement may fit when collecting accurate material and maintaining pages is the work you want to commission. These are workflow choices; there is no evidence here that one always produces better AI search outcomes.
Before choosing FoundUp, confirm functionality, integrations, hosting, content rights, updates and the fee in writing. Complex operational systems are not implied by the core service. Before choosing a platform, review the current plan and exit options. Neither route removes the need to verify business facts and keep the customer journey working.
Keep Durable, add support, or move?
Start by listing what your current Durable setup does well and which work lacks an owner. Keeping the product and adding implementation support may be more practical than replacing it. Confirm compatibility, account access and who reviews and publishes each change before combining services.
If you decide to move, inventory the pages, content, accounts, integrations and reporting history you need to retain. Ask Durable about current export and cancellation terms. Agree redirects, form testing and the first monitoring baseline before switching. This is a buyer checklist, not a claim that every feature or data format can be migrated.
Questions & answers
Does Durable include GEO features?
Durable documents an SEO & GEO workflow and says it is included in its subscription. Review current product details and coverage before buying.
Will a fast AI-built site automatically be cited?
No. Draft speed does not prove factual quality, indexing or AI citations. Review the content and technical setup, then measure actual observations separately.
